The room was beautiful. Although we hadn’t requested one, we were give a room with a lovely little private balcony, large enough for a table and two chairs with room to spare. The room itself was comfortable, clean and stylish. We slept extremely well there. The staff were delightful from the start. We received perfect instructions on how to get to the hotel from the airport along with other helpful information in advance of arriving. Mauro, Gabriel, and Karin were all so polite and lovely to chat to. They had lots of good recommendations for restaurants and helped us figure out the bus we needed to get to reach the Appian Way and Catacombs. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. It is a 15 minute walk to the place where all the tours of the Colosseum start. It was 30 minutes to the Trastevere neighbourhood, the Jewish ghetto and the Pantheon. It was slightly longer to the Vatican, 50 minutes, but it is possible to take the metro to that if you prefer (circus maximus (B line) - termini, change to A line - ottavia). The San Saba neighbourhood where the hotel is located is pretty and there are lots of lovely restaurants. The last thing I wanted to comment on is the breakfast. It is a 20 second walk from the front door of the hotel in a beautiful bakery called Casa Manfredi. The pastries and coffee were amazing - a real Italian experience. I’ve seen a few reviews saying how inconvenient this arrangement was but please don’t listen to that. It was really convenient and introduced you to Casa Manfredi which was also a lovely spot to sit and have a drink in the evening.

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Rome for work, and I had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent – it’s situated in a nice area, and the metro is just a short 5-minute walk away, making it really convenient for getting around the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the staff at the reception. They are young, enthusiastic, and always ready to help with a smile. Their positive attitude definitely added to the overall experience. The hotel itself has a charming outdoor bar area that looked very inviting. My room was comfortable and came with a balcony equipped with chairs and a table. I also appreciated the quality toiletries from a well-known brand. The breakfast arrangement is a bit unconventional but offers a local touch. Instead of a traditional hotel breakfast, they have a collaboration with a nearby café where you can have breakfast. On sunny days, sitting at the café's outdoor tables can be quite pleasant. They also offer the option to have breakfast delivered to your room, which is convenient, especially in colder weather. This setup gives you a chance to experience an authentic Italian coffee and croissant, which I enjoyed.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was incredibly helpful and super friendly — it made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect: just 10–15 minutes to the Colosseum by foot. Metro station - 5-7 minutes. Our room was beautiful, and we were lucky to stay in one with a balcony — it really added to the Italian atmosphere. There’s also a Michelin restaurant right downstairs with fair prices, but make sure to book a table in advance! Breakfast is not a typical continental buffet, but a partnership with a nearby café offering delicious pastries — from classic croissants and buns to savory options with meat, salmon, herbs, artichokes, and more. The hotel is very quiet, with only 9 rooms, and there's a lovely courtyard with statues — a peaceful and charming place to relax.

The place looked really nice and unique and we really liked our room. Our room was really nice and I liked the glass between the bathroom and bedroom as I’ve never had that before. The people working there went above and beyond to support us and got me a vegan breakfast option. We were also able to check in at 12pm for free and leave our luggage with the hotel whilst we walked around Rome. the location is great, 3 bus stops from the colosseum and in a lovely and relaxed area with many cafes, restaurants and a mini market. The hotel is LGBTQ+ friendly and the staff is helpful and supportive. The breakfast from the cafe was great for my partner and the vegan option for me was better than nothing.

Splendid hotel. Very quiet, discreet in its location, like being in a small villa in Rome and within perfect distance from the center of the city to keep a quiet stay but still being able to reach the center by a nice walk. Outstanding breakfast of proper pasticceria italiana prepared by a bakery nearby. Not to miss the capocollo pane and the giandiua cornet. Extremely nice and helpful staff. The room was cozy and tastefully decorated and the terrace bar to enjoy an apperitivo at the sunset the perfect spot to start over the evening.
